Rogue Blight is a ttrpg inspired by rogue-lite video games. There are parts of the game rules left blank. When you print it out, you will roll to see what is filled in. So, things like setting and conflict resolution rules will be different between campaigns.

It is meant to be for 2 players, but can be played with more.

The instructions and tables to fill in the blanks of the game are provided in one sheet.

To play the game, you need something to write with, a standard set of RPG dice, and some coins.

The game can be printed on a single sheet of paper and folded in the pocket mod format. https://pocketmod.com/

I used a template for the pocket mod layout. It can be found here: https://mr-matthew.itch.io/one-page-zine-template-procreate.

Amazing Game! Please make more pocketmod style games!

thanks! I have 3 other pocket mod games as well

Nice!

Great little game, and the booklet format is a wonderful idea. I just wish it came with a template for A4 paper as well - it took some additional work to make it fit.

Thank you! I can do a quick reformat for A4 when I get a chance and post. I should probably do that for my other pocket mod games too

This is another banger by Junk Food Games - minimalist but extremely well executed and presented, with super fun mechanics. Anyone not following this publisher is doing themselves a disservice.

Thank you for the high praise!!

It's a really fun little game. Bonus points for the booklet format. Makes it pocket-sized and easy to play at any time, any place. I also like how there are multiple "resolution mechanics", to pick up depending on what you have available (d5, d20, coins, diceless). Though they are meant to be rolled, I think I would prefer to choose this one specifically. Generally, very nice tables to quickly randomize a game and have a unique experience each time.

Also while it's not mentioned, I think it would be a great fit for some Solo gaming. Find some fitting oracles (or just go with your imagination) and you have a quick and fun RPG solo activity.

One thing I would like to see expanded more is the "rogue-lite" aspect. Maybe more tables for the Boons, plus possibly some different mechanics and or synergies between them, or even more specific mechanics about flaws and curses. Though I understand, it would be tough to fit more in such a pocket game, may be a good idea for an expansion module or new tables.

Thanks!

Great points about making a solo version and making more tables. I may add more sheets at some point with this. Or make an expansion
